There are a number of items i would like in real carbon fiber such as my spoiler and some bezels and seat trim and dash trim. Can any of you guys suggest a source i can call that does this type of work and who is reliable?

Laminating an existing part?

like a overlay pattern but real carbon?

Yes! Pretty cool what some of these guys are doing with the stuff.

Yes - they dont have to be overlays though. One technique is to use the existing part as the mold. Put one layer on top and remove the existing parts then add subsequent layers/epoxy/ect to the opposite side.

I'm trying to get my lexan T-tops done, so I think the overlay would be the best method for correct fit and finish of a "body" panel.

Thanks for the PM Mikey!

No problem he's a great guy to deal with I've known him 8 or 10 years
