There are lots of PT style cars outside the perimeter. Each time I go to an event, I make sure to let people know about PT.com

Thanks guys! I live in Forsyth, Ga, the city, not the county. One hour south of Atlanta and 30 mins north of Macon. Or as I like to call it, the dead zone for Hotrods and the Law Enforcement capital of Ga. Not that I have a reason to hide from our friends in blue, but quick test and tunes of latest mods require excellent neck swiveling abilities! LOL.
I have a few loose ends to tie up on the 72, but she is road ready. The lock-up converter in my 2004R sticks a little when I come to a dead stop, almost like coming to a stop in a stick car without pushing the clutch in, but at the last second it lets go before the engine stalls. Not a trans man ,but I hope it will loosen up as the whole car only has about 130 miles on a complete ground up build. The brakes also have a good 1 1/2 to 2 " of dead space before they start working. Its a complete system from ABS in California w 13" rotors and 4 piston calipers on all 4 corners. I redrilled the brake pedal for a lower contact with the booster rod and that took about 1-2" out of the travel, but that still leaves that 1 1/2 -2". Just enough to take your breath away, thinking the brakes are gone.
Anyway, I know this isnt the trans or brake forums, im just sharing the very few problems I have to work out before she i DONE. Thanks again for the kind words. David

Sweet ride. Northeast AL here and think we all need a get together meet and greet somewhere soon. Any ideas?

Spring is coming, is all I know. Somewhere west of ATL would be a good middle ground for all that have chimed in so far, I think? Where is Road Atlanta anyway?

Amir, we need to work on yer' geography. Cumming is North of ATL :) West would be D'ville. Rome usually has a decent cruise night at an old Kmart parking lot. But, their downtown is pretty nice with some great restaurants. Although that is about 35-45 minutes northwest of me, and I'm 35-40 minutes nw of downtown.

Yea Rome would be a drive for me(not so much the car,but me). My back is fried from being too "careless" in my younger days and surgery is a good year out (insurance issues). What about talking Summit Racing into letting us do a cruise-in at their store. That is about 20-30mins from Atlanta. I dont know if Atlanta raceway is still having the pit lane drags, but that is only about 30mins from Summit, so maybe we could do a twofur. Just a thought.

So, anyone think a Summit crash is a fun idea? I have a set of Nitto NT05Rs to throw on the back of the ol 72 if I can find a set of Billet Specialties 17-9 1/2 to throw them on. You know, stuff gotta match! I could just swap the tires out on the wheels I have to go to Hampton for some pit lane draggin. Chime in ,Guys!

I say a joke, son, a joke (with as many folks as I used to know ITP, that thought everything OTP was Tennessee, Bama, Souf' Caro or Florida, I never assume anymore)

Summit could be cool. They have various shows during the warmer months, and some shows.

Any of the pack(rat) have any pull with big business to make it happen? Or should a newb with 20 posts call Summit up for a favor? I have put a couple of their kids through college with past purchases,LOL.

I'm in Georgia too but I'm over near Augusta. Currently my car is in pieces while I rebuild the suspension. A meet up would be fun as long as it's on a Saturday due to the distance.

Yall kill me with the 'down" term. Im deeper in GA than anyone thats chimed in so far. That being said, Saturday is a great day for me, whenever it is. Im a stay at home dad because im basically down for the count with serious back issues and my 14 yr old son is out of school on the weekends and he would have a blast looking at other machines . I am serious about a get together and will do the leg work to make it happen, if you all will come to the party. Give me a show of hands if it is something the GA boys(and girls) want to do.
