View Full Version : 295/35/18 on a 18x12 rim

Have anyone tried to do this. I have a set of 295/35/18 that I can't sell because they discontinued the tire. The other problem is that a can't get the specs to see if indeed it will fit an 18x12. If anyone has did this, post a pic if you have it. Thanks

295 / 25.4 = 11.6" tire section width (sidewall to sidewall width)

Thread width will be narrower then the section width. Tire manufactures vary with these measurements, but my rule of thumb is to keep the tread width the same as the rim width +/- 1/2"

I'm going to guess that the tread width is around 10.5" which is way far from 12". Not saying you couldn't do it, I wouldn't, but that just me and possibly the manufacture.

OK thanks. I guess these tires will collect dust. I'm going to attempt the 335's.
