Even though the standard design on the Forgeline GA3 calls for hidden hardware, we can build it with exposed through-bolts as a no-cost option. This GA3 features a Satin Black center combined with a DEEP Polished outer and exposed hardware. Learn more at: http://www.forgeline.com/products/performance-series-step-lip/ga3-17-18-19-20.html

It's amazing how the exposed hardware really changes the look of the wheel.

What is cleaning those like?
Definitely harder. That is one of the big advantages of the hidden hardware; it is much easier to clean and keep clean, without the bolt heads.
FYI, did you know that some wheel companies install their hidden assembly hardware by simply drilling and tapping the aluminum? This works fine for the initial assembly, but if you need to disassemble the wheel to service/inspect/repair, then the threads strip out too easily.
Forgeline uses Helicoil inserts and ARP fasteners on every wheel so that they can be serviced and repaired with much less drama.

Excellent. People like to hate on helicoils but that is just because they don't understand how they work. This is the perfect application for them and I am happy to hear that is what you guys do.
Do you guys also run a higher torque spec since you can get away with it?

Yes. When we started using Helicoils, we increased our torque spec.
