I am very excited to announce that I finally thought of a perfect name for my 69 Camaro. "ILLUSION"

I thought of this name about 6 months ago. Started with Modern illusion but I dropped the modern. Everyone that looks at my car sees a retro car body. Little do they know when they look inside they see modern 4th gen interior, 6 speed tranny, momo steering wheel, modern stereo, soo many other goodies like Budnik wheels. There are also a lot of details no one catches. By the time I am done it will have new brakes, suspension, and so many other goodies that people cant see. ILLUSION just seems perfect for all the reactions I get at car shows too. The see the outside then start looking around and "wow look at this"
Just wanted to share the name with everyone. Keep an eye out because you will hear more and more about the 69 Camaro known as "ILLUSION" :naughty:

I have never named a car before so this has been strange to me. I am really glad everyone likes the name. :)

T/y I would love to get into Popular Hot Rodding mag some day and have Steve Rupp do the entire write up about the car. Just my dream.

I really hope next year at the latest. All I have left for cosmetic is the exhaust out the center of the car like a viper. Still need some sort of fuel cell and some other mock up designs until I attempt to do it. Paint color will be 2005 or 2006 SRT10 Viper Silver. See you at Woodward too!!

Glad you like it Steve. I think that it would make me a magician because it will take some sort of magic act for me to ever get this done. :lmao:

Great name. I really like when a car has details that you keep discovering.

I don't mean this to be a rip guys, but why does everyone have to name their cars? Naming a car just seems silly to me. Sorry guys, please don't kill me.

There was a huge thread on why people name their cars a few months back in which the discussion got heated. Search for that thread for an answer to your question. I think it was titled "Naming my car". Lets keep this thread one on track, no naming discussions, please.
