After looking at specs on every certified lift I could find around $3000, I had my mind set on a Challenger vs10. I'm fairly tall and I've worked under lifts that weren't tall enough for me. I like that the vs10 could be set at 12' 6". All others that would fit under my 13 ft ceiling were only 12 ft tall. But like all the rest of my favorite stuff it's been discontinued. Next on my list was the Bendpak XPR-10. If you've ever seen the comparison of it and the Rotary lift then you know how well built it is. And of all the 12' lifts it had the most clearance to the overhead switch. So Bendpak was the winner, the only problem was I wanted red and it was only listed in blue. I called asedeals.com because they had the best price I found. He said red was available for an extra $175 and 2-3 months shipping time. The shipping is fine because I'll be in Afghanistan for another 6 weeks anyway.
I'll post up some pics when I get it in. I was wondering if anyone here had a red one and how long it took to get it. If it takes the full 3 months or more that's gonna suck lol.

and you could easily paint it your self any color you want for half the price, and have it delivered now.
i too am going to purchase a lift soon, but most my deployment monies went to a big foundation of cement..

I'm in KAF. Going home at the beginning of March. I work for Navistar in the ISS shop if you know what that is. We've been putting ISS on the Maxxpros
I thought about painting one but figured powder coated from the factory would look better and last longer and the time and effort to paint wouldn't have been worth it with everything else I have to do. Got a long to do list before I can take the 67 apart lol.

Well I went and picked up my lift today. After paying an extra $175 for red, they shipped me a blue one. I paper work says red, and the guy I bought it from shows I ordered red. He said he'd look into it and call me back. I'm just going to have him refund the $175 and paint it myself.

Tell him to keep the $175 and that he can come over Saturday morning with his work/painting cloths on and he better plan on making it red by the end of the day. Sorry to hear you didn't get what you wanted and after waiting so long. On the bright side you can think of how I'm still crawling around on the floor the next time you have your car on the hoist. That should make you chuckle next time you work on your car even if it is still blue

You'll love . Mine has lots of room underneath and the three stage arms make it nice to load a car either direction

Well after talking to the Bendpak rep, someone had loaded the wrong lift, so they sent my red one and I went back to the shipping terminal and swapped them. I'm 50 miles from the terminal, so to compensate me for the trouble and the gas, they gave me a 20T shop press.
I was pleased the blue one showed up with no damage because it's a common problem that people pick these up wrong and scratch them. I wasn't so lucky with the red one

There are some other spots but that's the worst. Bendpak's customer service has been great. The rep I was talking to has been very nice and eager to make things right. I posted a thread about this lift on garagejournal.com and a rep there contacted me when he saw the damage. He took the initiative to look up my number and call me! He's going to send me some touch up paint and refund the money I paid for red.
I've seen a lot of threads about these lifts on garagejournal but not here so that's why I wanted to share my experience. I looked at every certified 10k 2 post lift on the market. This one was an easy choice. Their site shows how well built it is, the price is as good as any, and the customer service couldn't be better.
Here it is in the shop

I pulled all the sloppy dry wall off my walls and I've been rewiring the shop. I'll post some pictures when I get it up and assembled.
