Hood with Hood pin holes

I found a fiberglass hood for sale that I'm gonna go look at Thursday or Friday, the only issue is I am not a body man and it already has holes for hood pins. I had already planned for using pins but I'm just wondering if it's Ok to go for it. If the holes are off a little will it be a cheap easy fix or should I play it safe and pass. He said he forgot who made it so he has to check on what brand and get back with me. He claimed its of good quality and is asking $150

Don't let him know you really want the hood pins... Play it up that it will be a bitch to fix and maybe he'll cut you a deal. If the holes are off a bit for your application it's not a big deal. The scuff plates cover a lot of territory around the holes so any minor mis-alignment is okay...
