Thanks! I am going to open a shop to build reproduction RS Chevelles. The RS1 is the base model street performer with endless options leading up to the RS9R. I've received quite a response since completion so it's time to make it happen.

Ditto on the Congratulations, I absolutley love the color..... It looked great under the lights on Velocity last night ...... I just read thru your build hoping to find mention of the actual color name or code...any chance you would share that info ? I am getting ready to finalize a color for my build and think that color would be a game changer.

Thanks Ross

Barrett Jackson 10% to the buyer and 8% to the seller. Great business model for them!

8% to the seller, I don't understand.
Shouldn't the other 90% go to the seller?

The seller gets 8% taken off of the final bid price. The buyer adds 10% to it! At mecum it was 7%

Got it. That makes sense now.
Wow they're doing alright with that, 18% is a good chunk of change.

Love the car by the way.
When are you going to start building to sell? Are they going to be build to order or are you going to build then sell?

I can't believe I did not see this last post!? So sorry Kieth! Life has been incredibly busy! My wife and I are staging our home to put on the market. We are then moving to the Orlando area where I am opening shop. I will be building to order with several set price build packages from respectable street machine to the race worthy game ender, RS9R! The build times will be 8 to 12 months respectively. I have a very large network of high-end technicians in that area that I can call on if the demand is there as well. I am also developing a wheel that will be specific to only this car, though similarly styled. Of course there is no limitations on type of car or options with us "street metal concepts" but we wanted to be able to offer an extremely high end product at a reasonable price in realtion to typical costs of builds. We can do this on a car that all the custom parts have already been developed. That is exactly what this first build eneded up being... esentially the R&D prototype. Anyway, I now have the facility, company, techs, and suppliers all ready to go.... now all I need is a build! LOL Thanks again for your inerest!
