I know this is likely not the perfect site to list this on but most of us have more than one flavor of cars that we enjoy. If you have clicked on this you likely know what it is and what it is about. I am selling this new engine still on the crate with all documentation from Gm # 97 of 427 built. New this engine was over 23k, it was purchased to go in my friends 69 convertible but he has since changed directions and decided to keep the small block in the car after uncovering a lot of documentation and history on the car. No bs here it is exactly what it should be and has been in a climate controlled garage since pulled off the truck. This is one of those things that yes it is a lot of money for what you get but it is very exclusive and put it in the right car and the pricetag goes way up! If anyone is interested i will work with you on shipping in the lower 48. Thanks!

These are hard to find, especially someone willing to sell one. These are excellent investment pieces. Year-One has one of these on their showroom floor. Their asking price...$50k!
I'd buy this in a second, if I had the extra cash right now.

Absolutely Scott it is a good investment piece for a car that is worthy it is the ultimate drop in! I am right with you if I had the coin it would be so at home in my 70 Chevelle! I wish my friend would just keep it but along with the reasoning for not going thru the install in his 69 convertible he is in the thick of a bad ass whipped charged ls swap in his 67 c10 it will be posted on the site soon est 750 hp!

I had never heard of this motor until I saw this thread, and then I was watching MuscleCar over the weekend and they are using the same motor in a COPO clone car. Their motor number is 426/427. Looks like a great motor to build a car around.
