I bought these Herb Adams bars 20 years ago and they've sat on the shelf. Now that I'm working on a Belair, I don't need them. When I mocked them up it seemed to me that the heater box would need to be removed or clearanced. Never went any further so I can't say for sure. These bolt to the upper control arm mount and firewall as well as the corner by the hood hinge. Shipping will be actual cost but Enthusify required an entry. Thanks.

I do believe they're 1st gen. When I quickly mocked them up, they were so close to dropping in. I just had a slight interference with the heater box. Although they do look similiar due to design. Would any measurements help?

Pretty sure Herb Adams(or his son) still sells these. I was looking at them for years. Just couldn't pull the trigger on the $300 plus shipping that they wanted for them. Plus I got way too much stuff in the way. Not sure if they clear a brake booster either. Be very cool for a retro look though.

Those look like the 2nd Gen braces, have them on 79 camaro: (btw you can see I beefed up the sheet metal where they mount to the cowl, I had cracks all around the mounting points and this is a coupe, not a t top car with all the other Z28 braces in place)

The driver's side on your 2nd gen looks like a different length than mine. Could you take some measurements? I'd like to compare and hopefully resolve the question. When I bought them there was no documentation.
