I have been looking at several ECU options for my build. One of my requirements is for the ECU to be able to be linked to my G2X Pro data accusition unit I will be using.

The car will be driven on the street, but will see more track time if this helps with a choice.

So the choices I have been looking at are -

Holley Domintator unit - no interlink connection available right now and no word on when.

FAST XFI 2.0

Motec either there M800 or M880 unit, highest priced, but lots of options also will be able to use flat shift (ignition cut-off) and downshift options with an GCU upgrade with my Albin ST-6-M sequential shifting tansaxle. by using these options I have three choices for how to shift my transaxle. By steering wheel mounted buttons, paddle shift or regular floor mounted shifter. I will most likely install both the floor shifter and push button options.

Go with the Motec if you can swing it.
The option of push button or sequential shifter would be great.
I think it's more in line with the build level of the rest of the car.

There's a vast difference in capability between the FAST XFI and the Motec. As Keith says, if you can swing the Motec, do the Motec.

The price is on the high side of the options, but the options and built in adjustability of the Motech products are far greater.

Only bad point to there system, which does not bother me is they do not offer a engine harness. I was planning on building my own wiring harnesses anyways so this does not bother me.

I will put a phone call into them this week and get the ordering process underway.
