I am looking to run a low mount alt and a/c compressor with a Daily dry sump pan and small pump set-up. I can order the pump for either style set-up for the pulley from them as shown in the pic's. I plan to mount my alt low on the left side of the engine over the top of the dry sump pump and the a/c compressor on the other side. Will there be any problems running them off the harmonic balance / pulley? I know I will have to build in a tensioner some how. I am trying to keep the top of the engine as clear as I can. As it is being put into a mid-engine GT40 and the closer I can get the engine to the firewall as the upper portion of the fire wall is angled towards the engine.
I have seen a few photos of this being done but was unsure if it was a good idea.
