Possible new C-10 build and want your opinions....

Well gang I've been back and forth with Ben Hermance and trying my hand at a design or two myself as well...
There are a lot of the C-10's that are really beautifully and I'm having a Hell of a time deciding on a final design
and would like to hear comments good and bad about this little Photochop I did ;-)... I want to be very clear
that the stripe was inspired by an online image and I modified the stripe ,and background of the stripe as I
thought it looked good however I wanted to personalize it.......

The build will feature some new Carbon offerings from Carbon Kustoms, a custom built Mock frame, an LS power
plant, a rear mounted 6spd trans & IRS, Ride Tech air ride....

Anyways here goes Albert Photoshop 101 LOL,,, give me your thoughts please.....

It was suggested that I consider putting an "RS" treatment on the headlights so I put them together in one image for you thoughts?????

The RS grill looks cool, I would have never thought about that.

No, stick with the round headlights. A nice set of Halo HID lights would be the ticket.

I like everything but the grill inserts.

Looks cool. If it is to sit that low, you may want to raise the front wheel opening to get a full 40* turn angle. I chopped mine twice, not on purpose, but to get the look right, it took 3/8" more chop in the front just to make the window look even. It doesnt measure out parallel top to bottom, but visually it looks level. BTW, count me in for a hood, Chris Smith (Smitty) will want one too.

I think it hard to beat the 67 doghouse and grill. Maybe give it an updated look based on the 67 grill and headlights. Just my opinion. Mike

This started off as a simple query on design direction and given the positive reaction,,,, it looks like we'll be getting on the build starting in mid Jan-early Feb 2013 and see how long it take to create this one ;-)...
Rob I'm a big fan of what you and Smitty have done with your builds, simply ""beautiful and fast a Hell""... You guys build industry bench marks Trucks and I appreciate your endorsement of the design/look we've played with here... If we live up to those standards with the finished product in the end,, we'll be extremely happy.... Hey you know the old saying,,, "Aim High",, well we're doing that for sure LOL....

Brent the hood, front bumper and splitter, as well as the rear bed cover and spoiler are all being considered at this point....

RS is usually a good look but for these trucks the headlights are kind of the standout feature up front. Looks better with the lights showing. Cool ideas.

Just promise us one thing, that you will give Scott enough breathing time between builds to get my subframe heading my way. I am ready to start building my own take on your Cochise build with a Mock subframe and Ridetech setup. BTW, I haven't figured out when he sleeps given all that he accomplishes with the builds and frames.

Ah Stephen he tells me all the time that sleep is over rated LOL..... We likely be starting this build when Scott has had a chance to breath ;-),,, now may only for for a couple of quick breaths but a chance non the less LOL.... The guy is a machine indeed... The Cochise is available by the way if you want to jump right on to the fun part immediately,, just saying....

It is a little easier to pay as I go along. You provided a nice blueprint though.

Honestly, as cool as it is, I would have no problem buying the hood and putting it up on the wall, until I can swing buying a C10 project truck to put it on :)
