I am thinking about purchasing front accessory drive for 69 camaro, I thought about buying the alternator, ps pump, and brackets off a 2010-12 camaro, I see the alternator mounts low on this setup. The corvette setup mounts the alternator up high on the engine. It will mainly be a street car and I plan on installing a magnuson sc. Just need a little guidance before I pull the trigger the wrong direction. thanks Travis

Travis, you can go with the Vette setup and most sub frames. Its ugly but it works, also it would allow you to buy the vette specific Supercharger setup.

However, if you have the coin take a look around their are lots of aftermarket assemblies that are far superior to OE.

wegner makes a kit exactly what your are wanting as long as its not a vvt motor... the problem with the factory mounts is it mounts the a/c compressor in a position where it wont work in a factory front subframe unless you modify the bracket and make your own. if your not running a/c then kwik brackets will also work more than likely..

Wegner is sweet, Just don't want to spend 2g on front drive, I have morrison chassis, I like how the wegner runs the sc of the crank only, decisions, decisions, I thought maybe stock then upgrade later, thanks guys

Both Kwik and Holley make the high drivers alternator bracket and high passenger compressor bracket. They can be spaced for vette, 98-02 f body, or truck/camaro/VVT. Kwik is plates and spacers, Holley is cast similar to stock. Very affordable too.
Holley is available for R4 and Sanden compressor.

CTS-v also uses the low mount alternator, a very low profile waterpump that works, and then mounts the ps up high that also fits a 69 Camaro. 2004-2007 I think ctsv

Here is a link to my setup, which consists of the parts listed below. Not a bad setup for the money and parts are readily available. If I was going to go with and aftermarket setup it would be Wegner, but make sure if you plan on going with forced induction that the setup can be modified to do so with out breaking the bank.
