I have a 69 camaro and I just got a tilt column from a friend. He said it's from a 78 monza. It doesn't have the coupler on the end and I'm having trouble finding one. Any idea's on how to research and get a positive I.D. on the column also find compatible part's for that column. It seems there are different couplers for different years and models. I'm just looking for help on how to find the info for myself

You need to try a local salvage yard that has the right exchange books or computer program. I seriously doubt though that the monza column is going to work in a 69 camaro. Two totally different car bodies, etc.

You are probably right. He had a 2nd Gen and that monza column. The 2nd gen was long and the monza was a lot closer length wise
