To the body men out there who have replaced rear quarters I have a question for you. I have the opportunity to pick up a set of original GM rear quarters from someone who bought a set 20 years ago for his '67 Camaro and never used them. My question is compared to the AMD replacements that are now available would I notice a difference from the original GM ones? Both sets are close in price so there is no price advantage with either so it really is just a question of quality and fitment.

Thanks,

I would say without a doubt the originals will be the best fit you can get.

NOS quarters are nice, they will be your best bet. The recent aftermarket pieces are nice, but nothing beats GM / Ford / MOPAR originals!

If you can get the original OEM quarter panels, grab them! You will be money ahead!

Thanks for the input guys and I made the deal to get them. This will push back my rear suspension kit for a bit but it puts me one big step closer to driving this thing.
