Installed a set of March Performance v-belt pulleys on my 302 SBC, kit 6070:

Need some belts now. For those that have used this kit, what model belt has worked for you? Seems like the ribbed belts are better than smooth, and I think these pulleys are 36 degrees like stock. Not sure on length - with some wire I measured approximate inside length as 51" for the crank/water pump/alternator belt, and about 31.75" for the power steering belt. These numbers seem a fair bit different from stock, likely due to the differing pulley diameters. Alternator is in the stock location for a '67 Z28, up high on the driver side.

Just looking for any wisdom the group here can share. Barring any input, will phone the local parts stores looking for 36-degree ribbed v-belts in those approximate lengths. Thanks!

For what it's worth, I initially installed the March V-belt pullies on my SBC but I could never get them to stop slipping especially the PS pump. I finally got fed up with the constant squeeling and scrapped the V-pullies and replaced them with serpentine belt pullies and I have been much happier.

Do they make a system with serpentine belt pullies, that uses the factory bracketry? I can't use aftermarket brackets.

I don't know about that. I switched to a long WP and moved the alt to the passenger side like a 69. Much happier with the setup now using the March brackets.
