my gauge when engine ideling the needel flutters wont stay stabel, its a waldon in tank i did drop the tank a week ago and the old sock was touching the bottom of the tank, so i thought it was creating a vacuum effect.
i was able to get the pump up about .25 inch and started the motor and it was good for a week nows its doing the same.

it is also my second gauge so it was not the gauge....or it could be my regulator but need to check that soon

any guys out there with or had this problem or should i even be concerned?

How much does it flutter? If it flutters 1 or 2 lbs I wouldn't worry about it.
Is it oil filled?

could be normal fluctuation from the injectors opening and closing.
How is the fuel system set up.
Is the fuel line "T" off to each fuel rail or does it flow from one rail to the next.
The "T" set up is best.

If you increase the engine speed does the flutter change?

it starts on the left side front rail then loops to the right side then out to the reg and to the tank, mass flo suggested that

Is it vacuum referenced? Does the engine lope to match? Disconnect the vacuum line and see if it still flutters.

I've read that the Y is better, although aesthetically I'd rather go with the Mass Flo suggestion.
