I manged to misplace the instructions. Does the grease fitting for the bushing in the frame go toward the inside of the car or the outside?

Just installed these on my '69. Grease fittings on both the frame and leaf spring bushings go on the inside, pointed down and slightly forward at about the 7pm to 8pm position. I had to use all the various tricks and proper sized pipes to press them in.

Thanks. I'm not looking forward to the pressing process. I assume the bushings get centered in the frame rail, correct?

No, for both the frame and leaf spring bushing, the bushing end with the grease fitting will stick out further. You should press the bushing in just far enough so the grease fitting is barely touching the frame or leaf eye.
Be sure to read up on the net about all various tricks and tools to use. I could NOT have gotten them in without all the great suggestions I found, and even then it was not easy.

Lube, 5/8" threaded rod, 4 nuts and thick washers will be your friend with this job.

That sounds like my coil spring compressor setup. Thanks for the suggestion.
