I thought i seen a company coming out with widened front fenders for a 69 camaro a few months back? Anvil perhaps? Can't seem to find them now... Anyone know who?
What would be the downsides to running a 305 up front? Too much stress/Tension on the rack & pinion?
Weighing the options of doing this!

No, it's all a matter of balance. 305s allow a nice balanced setup with a 315 or 335 in the back. If you can fit 'em, let it rip.

Once you get past the fitment, I don't see a down side. I'm planning 315/335 for the next one.....

Thanks guys! I have horrible understeer up front that pushes in corners & i know it's a combination of things- my driving too fast into corners, need to change out stock spindles to tall ones, 275 on front & 345 rear tires. So looking into fixing all this over the winter!

horrible understeer [...] 275 on front & 345 rear tiresThose two facts are related. Replace your rear tires with 295s or 315s and much of your understeer will go away.

:smoke:But John...I love the fat meats on the back!:smoke:
and besides I don't have much traction back there as it is... going skinnier would only make that worse.
I would rather go wider on the front to get my ratio closer if I can pull it off!
