c5 vette 4l60 trans, can it be converted to use in my camaro ls swap?

I was shoping for a 4l60 trans from a f body when I knoticed the c5 trans with 35k miles I already have looks the same except the bellhousing and tail shaft.

am I correct? and would it be worth it to turn it to what I need or just buy a complete trans?
I alredy found one from a 98 lt1 that has been rebuilt with vette bands and upgraded clutches ans shift kit with 40k on it for $400.00 problem it I can not test it.

No it can not be used. the shaft and case are a different length. just in case someone else has the same idea.
