I am trying to make my mind up between more classic styledwheels for my project or to go with newer styled wheels.

I am just now ordering the chassis and body for a GT40 MKII replica build from Race Car Replica's. I am planning on using Center-lock wheels either 18" or 19" dia, will have to work out width and offset, once I have the car and figure out a few other things as I am going with a wide body option, I have seen to be able to run larger wheels and tires than normal to fit my brake choice for one.68433684346843568436Last pic is of MK I.

Few other choices, all are Forgeline wheels.

My biggest concern with either of the Grip series of wheels is how the will look with the center-lock, I am planning on using the Hex-nut option instead of the typical 3 bar spinner than is normally used on GT40's.

The last option is called " DROPKICK ", which is the wheel I am leaning towards.

They wheels will have to be nearly flush or no more than 2" set back from the front edge for the front and between 2-3.5" set back for the rear, even with the widebody mods I am planning on doing to allow larger wheel and tire package. As stock wheels are 15x8 or17x8 front and 15x10 or 17x10's in the rear. I am hoping to run 10.5 wide on the front and 11.5" or 12" wide on the rear. This way I can run the same size tires on the track or street. Both tires I sets of tire I am planning on running have the same overall dia, and same overall width.

Other issue I am going to have to look at is my brake rotors and calipers to ensure there will not be any issues. As the factory brakes are 11.75" dia and I am planning on running 14" ( 356mm AP racing rotors and 6 piston monobloc calipers in the front) and 13" (330mm AP racing rotors in the rear and 4 piston mono block calipers in the rear.) the brakes are the same type that are run on DP cars, so I know there will be plenty of brakes.

So the next step is to figure out color and a few other options and get them ordered.

I'd say any of the multispoke choices would be a decent choice. A 5 spoke variant ,which looks great on the above white iroc, would probably be out of place on a gt40.
