Gents,
I am trying to find some track rims for a 1966 Ford Fairlane. They are very similar to the mustang but just differnt enough to be a pain in the butt. I am trying to get an extra set of rims for the auto-x and other events on the weekend. I am looking for something somewhat cheap and hopefully on the lighter side. I am currently running 17x7 with 4.25" backspace and a 1/4" spacer on the front. The spacer is to clear the 2005 mustang brake caliper. Over the weekend I tried a differnt rim, 17x8 with 5"bs and it fit perfectly. For the back I am currently running 17x8 w/4.75" bs. There is not that much room on the fender side but there is plenty of room on the inside of the wheel well. The fairlane has the same 5x4 1/2 bolt pattern as other fords.
I have tried summit and jegs and speed way. All are wanting 200+ for a rim. I even called tire direct. I guess they have no ability to look up rims by size, bs, etc.
So, again, I am looking for 17x8 w/5" bs for the front and 17x8 w/4.75bs or 17x9 w/5.75 bs that are on the lighter side but will not cost me an arm and a leg.
Thanks for the help in advance.

If a 17x8 w/4.75 BS fits, then you would be looking for a 17x9 w/5.25 BS if you want the same fitment.
