The cut on the top of the spoke is a really cool touch. At a glance it looks simple then when you really study it you see all the extra detail. Love it.

Love this particular design the most of the new ones. Can't wait to see it with the concealed hardware option.

If the price would come down to normal Forgeline prices, I'd buy a set.

Yeah sorry. But we didn't adjust the price on these to be mean. The Laguna requires A LOT of extra machine time. We can't afford to tie up the mills that long without factoring that into the price.

Man I've been looking for a "minilite" style wheel and when I found these I was pumped! Unfortunately I cant justify spending more money on wheels than I have in the 600hp LS power plant!

Great looking wheels tho :)

Ha! Well it is an 18 inch center. But it is mounted in a stepped lip outer, so it is a 19 inch fitment.

How can these be double everyone else's "top quality' wheels...7K?

Probably closer to 8k. (If someone quoted you 7k, then you're getting a good deal.)

The Laguna is indeed our most expensive wheel. The reason for this is because it is a complicated machining profile and takes twice as long to build. And production time is valuable; we cannot afford to bring everything else to a halt, while we make one set of Lagunas. So we accounted for this time in the cost.

That being said, I think you will find that this pricing is in line with other premium custom forged wheel brands.

Thanks Mark.

Not bashing cause I would buy these wheels in a NY minute but when your wheels w/o tires cost more than a crate motor, its prob out of the range of most. However beautiful wheel none the less.

I shot a few photos of this Grip Equipped Laguna in Gloss Black and HTM with a Polished outer, exposed hardware, and custom "GT40" center cap, before they shipped out. The flat "face" on these spokes makes a really neat candidate for the HTM (high tech machined) finish option. And this custom cap turned out great. Nice wheels. Trans AM/mini lite style are my favorite!
Couple questions:
How much do they weigh?
Would an "18" be a seventeen inch face on a double step lip?
Got any pics of the backside/inside of the wheel?
Are the spokes hollowed out with lightening pockets, and is that why they take double the machine time which doubles the price?

How much do they weigh?

Obviously depends on size. I might have to put a display wheel on a scale to even give you a guestimate. But relative to the rest of our lineup, these are HEAVY! If you are worried about getting the lightest option, then you don't want these.

Would an "18" be a seventeen inch face on a double step lip?

No. This wheel was originally designed for a reverse flat lip. So the smallest center that we are prepared to make is 18 inch. So if you combine it with a stepped lip, then it would be a 19" OD.

Got any pics of the backside/inside of the wheel?

I do not. Sorry...

Are the spokes hollowed out with lightening pockets, and is that why they take double the machine time which doubles the price?

No hollow spokes. It just takes a long time to carve out that rounded spoke profile and all of the angles where the spokes meet the lug center.
