anyone put 2010+ camaro wheels on a first gen?

really like the 2010 style camaro wheels and have just been waiting to see a picture of a car with them to see how they look. Anyone know of any?

... only as a set of shop rollers to clear DSE spindles. They are tall and narrow, and the stock tires don't fit in front fenderwells on '69s to turn very well.

My car (67) is up on stands in the shop and I have the stock wheels from my 12 in a box. I can see if they fit on there and snap a pic for ya, but it won't be at ride height as I've got no tires on the 12 wheels. I don't even think they are the same bolt pattern but the pic above makes me thing otherwise. I won't be home till this weekend.

I don't think they will even come close to being the right offset and the 20s will be very tough to tuck in the nose.

I had several people on this forum trying to talk me into camaro take off wheels for my el camino. They are the same offset as vette wheels , which I think needed a 1.5" wheel adapter, there goes your savings for take off wheels. Also I would need bicycle tires for front which would kill the ride & safety on rough roads.
Moving forward, as I posted elsewhere, found some used panther 18 by 8.5 with bfg g-force rubber for $ 700 in good condition. Made in Indonesia, not china, they seem decent quality, though heavier than I'd like. Check out Panther & Boss wheels, should have something close enough to 5th gen ss wheels at a reasonable price.

20" 5th gen wheels won't look good, are going to need adapters, and tire sizing will be, um, interesting.

The 18s like seen above on the red car, could work given the right circumstances. They have that rally 2 look

The off set is way off. My car is minitubbed and they are hitting the frame (which has been narrowed). On a car that has a stock rear it would be better, but still off and need a spacer. I would not go this route.

The black steelies are 18x7.5. Not sure on the offset. The stock tire size is unusual, too.

They're +38mm (~5.75" BS) offset and HEAVY...32.9# each heavy. They are also 5x120mm, so an adapter would be the way to go if you wanted to run them on a 5x4.75 application, which would take care of the offset issue at the same time. The stock tires are are very tall at 245/55R18 which equates to about 28.6" overall diameter.

While there's not much you can do about the weight, you can always downsize the rubber and the addition of a wheel adapter may net you enough clearance for a monoblock brake kit such as the C6 Z06's or something similar in terms of size and capacity.

Good info. I considered these for my Belair. 2" 5x4.75 to 5x120 adapters from Motortech are $340 for (4). Another vendor has them for $220 for (4). Also, on ebay, many vendors use 4.75 and 120mm interchangeably.

Many vendors on ebay have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. To do it correctly you need to find some way to correct the bolt pattern. Or just buy wheels that fit to begin with.
