Looking for some kits that people are running to relocate shocks for a mini tub on a Nova or Camaro. If you could include the kit and also what shock you used for your lowered suspension that will be a great help. I have done a bunch of searches on this I have not come up with a clear answer on what works well.

I made a bar a few years ago and Zuess4u has a bar out there now.
My shock was stock length, the upper mount was 1" up and the axle mount was 3/4" lower with a lowered suspension. You just readjust depending on how far you lower it.

Yeah, I thought Ridetech had a kit, but I might be thinking about when I had a convo with Bret or someone else from the company.
Just get the car to the ride height you want, weld a bar between the frame rails above the axle, weld some mounts to the bar, and measure the distance between the upper and lower mounts. Pick shocks that have that measurement in the middle of their fully extended and fully compressed lengths.
Bamf, homemade shock relocation for a fraction of the price of a kit.

I have a pair of new KYB shocks that I have for the car and I think I will be able to get them to work. Making my own and saving money sounds like a good idea. Most kits are well over $100 and up.
What did you guys use for the lower shock plates?
