Hi Everyone,

I'm Charlie. I have been hanging around here taking in all of the great information and watching builds progress. I bought a 69 Camaro a few weeks ago, so I figured it was time to register and introduce myself and the car. I am 30 and an engineer for a construction equipment manufacturer. Since my background is in mechanical engineering and I love motorsports of all kinds, I really enjoy learning how to make cars perform.

The car is mostly original with about 26,000 miles and has been in storage since 1975. It has had body work done to repair accident damage and there is also some damage from storage, but it is rust-free and unhacked. I want to do a full Pro-Touring build with an LS engine and do some auto-crossing eventually, but for now will probably drive it as-is until I accumulate enough parts to get serious.

Nice to meet everyone!

Welcome to the PT forum. where in North Dakota? I was stationed at Minot AFB for a few years. Looks like you have a great unmolested car to start off with. I love the hubcaps...gives it a real stock vibe. Since you have a Camaro, you have no limitations to what you can do. Good luck.

Thanks. I'm from Bismarck. The hubcaps are definitely stock and a little dinged up, but the worst part is I only have three! Going to look like a goober until I get some wheels. :)
