Camaros are cheaper, depends on mileage and condition of course.
Here in cali off craigslist they go for about 4-7k whereas trans ams go for 7-10k.
Wrecked for about 2-4k depending on how, but junkyards hop on those like white on rice so its hard to get a whole car wrecked

I believe he's only inquiring about the transmission, not the whole car.

If so, what is the condition and mileage of the transmission?

I'm not sure of the mileage; I was told it had a rebuild about 5k before I got it, but have no way to confirm it. Everything appears to be in good working order, but I've never had it in the car. I bought it attached to an LS1; I sold the engine awhile back and am thinking about getting rid of the transmission and going a different direction.

$1000

That's about what I was going to put it up for sale for, just wanted to make sure I wasn't too far off.
