I was a friends car he replaced the engine with a alum headed 355, 700r4,355 gears, new brakes, vette brake suspension parts, ratchet shifter, the frame was painted to keep it from rusting and he only drove it for 1k mi after quit working on it. He made me a hell of a deal and now it waits for me to finish school and have the money to finish it. The wiring harness in the car was shot and was getting to close to catching fire so it has been replaced, I added and Holley commander 950 efi set up that was giving to me for helping rebuild the Malibu I started 2-3 years ago(post in project updates) and bought a serpentine belt setup from a donor car.

I love those cars. I want to do a C3 Z06 style one day with flares and a modern drivetrain. It is hard to describe the vision, but it is there. For some reason, working with fiberglass is less intimidating than metal for me.

I looked at doing the L88 flares and have decided it is over my head, plus it's not a race car so the 245/285 combo I plan on using will be fine. The was a corvette in popular hot rodding last year that I love the look of but dont want to copy that car.

Can't go wrong with a corvette, I had a less desirable c4, put fat rims on it and lowered it and got compliments everywhere I went. Nice buy

IMO, C3's are the sexiest vettes ever made. I would love to have an early 70's one but they are all sexy. What month PHR was the vette in?? I would like to look it up. Good luck with the vette Kacy!!
