I have Moroso Crankcase Evacuation System on my chevy small block. I was thinking would it be smart to put a oil catch can on or not?

My experience with a crankcase evacuation system on my SBC is that it only worked at higher RPM. It worked well years ago when I was drag racing and twisting 7000 RPM, but I found it to be ineffective on the street where the engine spends most of the time at much lower RPM. I removed the evac system and replaced it with a PCV system. In my experience the PCV system works much better for street use.

if your motor wasn't built for an evac system you won't see much in gains, that said i just use my evac without a catch can and every once and a while i have to change out the breathers.

I have change out the breather before. So its no point to put on a oil catch can then?
