For those who have never heard of Plasti-Dip, it is a coating that can be sprayed on a clean smooth surface like paint but unlike paint it can be peeled off later leaving the original surface undamaged.
A lot of the tuner scene have been using Plasti-Dip to paint their cars and wheels for a while now. Here is a video of how they paint a car with Plasti-Dip.

The problem with Plasi-Dip is that it was not designed for cars and wheels and it has a limited color selection. Enter Alsa Corp. spray on wrap. This stuff comes in virtually any color you can imagine, it can be brushed, rolled or sprayed on, it is safe to run through a car wash and it is guaranteed to last for at least 2 years because it is specifically designed as a vehicle wrap.

As an example, I have a set of chrome wheels on my Duramax and my plan is to coat those wheels to protect the chrome from winter road salt then peel it off next spring. It occurs to me that given the high cost of our custom wheels this spray wrap might be a good product to use to protect them as well, not that I plan to drive my Camaro in the snow. This spray wrap is also an inexpensive alternative to traditional paint and if you get tired of the color just peel it off and change it.
Just for the record, I'm not associated with Alsa Corp. I'm just a satisfied customer and I wanted to share this with the PT community.
