Anyone check into this fan yet?

Dual 13.5" fans, will pull 4600 cfm @ 28 amps max. Has a speed controller on it (the black box with red and black wires at the top) that will "soft start" the fans at 60%, and ramp up as needed. It's a bit pricey running $369 in Summit, but it looks like a very nice unit that won't be a tremendous draw on an electrical system. The fan motors look exactly like the tried and true Black Majic fan motors.

I'm torn between this fan an a Mark VIII fan with progressive controller installed (from Gmachinz). You guys that run the ford fan, what are the dimensions of the shroud? Does that sucker really drain the electrical? I'm cautious about it where if I get that fan, I may have to get a 120 amp alternator or something. What are you guys using?

If you run the DC controller, there is no need for a HO alternator. I'm doing a GP right now for the combo, if you want details, email me. Fan shroud dimensions are 22x19x5.5-it fits perfect on a stock Camaro radiator. Let me know what you need. -Jabin
