So after 6 weeks of waiting, my HRE wheels came yesterday. I did a stake out in front of my door for about 3 hours, waiting for the UPS truck to come, and constantly checking the peep hole at any sign of noise. Then at close to 5:50 the guy shows.
The wheels are HRE 542R with charcoal painted centers, and color HRE logo center caps.

They look great don't they?

Here is a head on view of the face of the wheel:

and here is the difference in width between the front and rear:

The rear wheel reminds me of a pony keg. It is huge!!

Can anyone guess the sizes, and widths?

I'd say 18x11's for the rear and 18x9.5's in the front?? Very sweet wheels Tito!!

NICE! I was thinking they would be slightly darker in the center, but I actually like the real wheels better! Can't remember your final diameter, but wasn't it something along the lines of 19x10 and 19x13? Can't remember.

Nice drumset by the way, but where's the cage with 50 cymbals?!? Uh oh, feel a rush of drummer jokes coming on...better go!

Edit:
I forgot, didn't you decide on a smaller rim? I'd venture a guess of 18x9 and 18x11 or so....tough to say though from the pics.

Ralph & rockdogz are closest to the correct size of the rims.

The specs are:
HRE 542R
Front 18x9.5
Rear 18x12
Tires are undetermined, but I'm thinking a 345 in the rear, with a 295 in the front.
My plan is to have the body kit on, the front and rear fenders changed to the 'widebody' mod, and have the car sitting on the HRE's. If I can get that done, I'll try and have it at the SEMA dinner.

Looks great, HRE wheels are my favorite by far, I just could'nt fit em in the budget, but damn they're purdy. good choice.

a 295 will fit good, but a 275 will be better, i would personally go for the 275 on the front. the 275 could possibly a little more twitchy, but a bulbous tire never looks good, i think the 275 will fit even and perfect. Better chris?

Dude, yody, did you just contradict yourself completely in less than one sentance?

I think it was a typo, but that confused me...

VERY NICE!!! I loved the HRE's on my old 2000 Camaro.. there is just something about how they are made that screams "high quality"..

I will eventually swap out my Budniks for some.. eventually :)

Again, Congrats.. you do know that wheels make the car

And about them legs in the background.. :postpics:

I think I'm going with a 265/315 combo on these rims.

Yeah, I thought the tire sizes would loook vey clean with these rim widths. Plus, nothing says 'little man' like a set of 345's. (Just kidding. :D )
