anyone know what SS truck I'm talking about?

My friend is considering a SS 454 1500 truck to build. As he was telling me about it my brain started to kick out the memory of a truck I saw in a magazine years ago. As far as I can remember it was a black SS 1500 with a C4 rear suspension and I think A mold wheels. It had a NASCAR type theme to it and two fuel cells in the bed and it's exhaust exited out thru the side of the bed. It was a great truck but I can't find any pics online and I'm not sure which mag it was. I told him it would help I'm decide if he saw that truck .

Truck did not have any Vette parts from the factory.

I don't know the truck, but my dad has a 454 SS and I am hoping he gets bored with it (terrible gearing and he hates driving it distances) because I would like to make some mods to it and play a bit. Good luck in your search. If you find it, post it up.

Yes I know it didn't come with any vette parts. I was talking about a modified SS 1500 that somebody built. I have searched Google high and low, there is No trace of that specific truck :(

could it be the truck built by arizona speed and marine back in the early 90's as a silver state race car?
