Flexible front suspension skirting material

What is everyone using to replace (or make) the flexible closeout skirts for the front suspension? I am rebuilding the front wheel wells on the van and want to get these made before paint.
I have looked on McMaster carr but really don't know what I am looking for as far as durometer or fabric inserts.

I was wondering why not make a dished metal panel to go on the INSIDE of the shock mount and cross shaft? Maybe hold it on with some Dzus buttons? That way you could truly seal everything off to the top of the frame rail.
