I watched the F1 race in Austin today and I gotta say I'm impressed with the new track. It looks fast and challenging. Hope to be able to be able to attend a track day there someday.

$50k....Well that probably kills that idea for most people. Maybe they will have a "Regular Guy" package? LOL.

The 50,000 dollar price tag isn't too incredible until you realize it seems to be capped to 24 people. That rules out the possibility of your average well-attended track day.

$2083 per person covers it. I'm in for a day.Seriously, where else could you do this?

I watched the race (and all practices/qualifying) and love the track. But - $50K ($2K each)to rent the track is crazy money. I thought their ticket prices were pretty high too compared to what it used to cost at Indy. I guess they are pretty proud of it and themselves......

If a track day is setup I might be able to afford to................................................ ....bring my camera and take pictures lol.
My roommate and another buddy got back yesterday from going to watch the F1 race. Sounds like they had a good time. Maybe I will make it out there sometime....

The track looked packed for the F1 race. I think I am going to the MotoGp in April.

What was the average price to spectate at the F1 race?
I think the average was about $500.00 for a three day ticket , I wonder if they could be talked into taking a few maore cars? I personally would the $2100.00 for the day.
that would be killer to have an ASCS event there ! RTA........run to Austin !
