Ok, I'm at my wits end (which ain't far to go!!) with my transmission.
History:The th350 was good till the added power of the bigger turbos, then it broke the drum. So time for an upgrade and I got a 400 core to rebuild. Got some good TCI innards and rebuilt it. Well, it broke a sprag at the MMCC, turns out it was the weak style. So out it comes again to get a new drum, sprag and clutches. It's back together now and it won't shift right. Dunno what the scoop is with it because, well I'm a roofer and not a mechanic!! LOL. Anyway, apparently 400's and 350's don't work the same with the modulator and vacuum. So what is the scoop with a boosted engine and how the vacuum works and all?
