We should all get together sometime soon. I say this while my Camaro has an empty engine bay, BUT she'll have a powerplant back in her this weekend and should be running by next. The second half of my brakes come tomorrow and the next week the brake conversion goes in. Maybe we can get a group of PT cars together and show up in force at Woodie's or The Malt Shop. Whaddaya guys think? Represent, yo!!!! :yeah:

There is a really fun cruise night every Friday in Escondido, I hadn't gone prior to this year, but it is a pretty nice show. It is on Grand Ave, right in the nice downtown area. Lots of nice cars, really well organized, plenty of places to grab some food, etc. One of the better in So. Cal.
I'd like to have an "open house" at my new shop sometime, but we are so darned busy that it might not be too easy to do at this point. Anyway, I'd certainly love to meet some more local guys, time is a little scarce, but it is always cool to network.

I'm here, in San Diego. I was at the Escondido cruise last Friday. I didn't cruise, just parked. I got tired and went home around 8:30pm. We need to meet up. I know Chevymike lives near me. What about Fuddruckers in Mira Mesa?

in2protour - We (meaning car group) haven't met at Fuddruckers in a year and a half. We moved over to IHOP after the new management, at Fudd's, kind of didn't care that we were there and rather had soccer kids show up. When they stopped reserving our table and no free drinks, I made a deal with the manager at IHOP. Free drinks and our own area. We meet there every Thursday night at 6:00.
As for cars, we have anywhere from a couple to 10, with most nights 4-6. We get about 6-20 people there to eat there. Depends on if people are out of town, busy or what not. More the marrier. I drive my Camaro up about 70% of the time depending on what or where I need to go after IHOP. Most bail out by 7:30. Come on down.
If you give a shout about when someone is going to show up, I can let you know if I will be there and if the Camaro will or not. Hope to see some more peeps. L8R

Hey I am in Fontana, but to be able to network with fellow pro-toures is enough to get me driving! keep me posted I would drive down.

Well...Camilla the Camaro is almost ready to put on the road again. I'm in El Cajon and I've seen one member on here as being in Lakeside I believe. Looks like the Escondido cruise night would be a good place. For brethren farther up the coast, maybe Woody's on a Saturday night would make it less stressful to get to. Quite a few options...
Soon...more to come!

Mean69,
I'd love to go to an open house at your shop. Never been to an actual fabricator's op.
I am in the SD area and should be done with my 69 Camaro in about two months. I have been a member for some time but never wrote because I figured no one lived in this area. TwinSting where in N.County do you live - Tom Nelson is my best friend and he spoke very highly of you. Anyway - let me knwo when you guys are doing a cruise, I need to meet some gearheads, my wife has me hanging out with her Tennis buddies and it's starting to make me nuts.

Complain about what? The influx of tourists during the 'season? They'll go home in a couple weeks, thankfully, gets even more crowded. Or, how about the price of gas?! I saw $3.24 this morning, and $3.19 for diesel.
There is a really cool indoor kart track up here in Carlsbad, it is new and the place is really well done up. Karts run pretty good. Katz will be here full time in a few weeks, so we should go before that: he's a ringer.
Portugal, nice. Lucky dog!
K-1 Speed--Hell yeah!!
I am down for a little wheel to wheel action.
Let me know who is in - I can organize a session if need be!
