I came across a deal for Global West front tubular control arms and QA1 coil overs. Any thoughts on the quality of these control arms? I have heard of some problems with alignment (excessive shims). Oh by the way its for a 68 Chevelle. Trying to get a pro touring theme going. Right now its got stock suspension all around. I am on a tight budget and will be upgrading as money comes in. I want to do the front this winter and maybe a brake upgrade. This is a street car, not an auto cross or drag car. I may like to try auto cross a few times but that's about it. Also will I need the tall b body spindle to change the caster/camber? Thanks for any help or ideas you may have.

Dont do the b-body spindle, it screws up bumpsteer.
Global West stuff is nice quality. They just dont seem to have gotten out of the early days of a-body handling nd switched out that b-body spindle idea.

X2... You may want to consider tall ball joints as a substitute for the B body spindle.

If the GW doesn't work out for you, we have ultra-premium Made In Philipsburg, PA - USA upper and lower arms with tall ball joints. One half inch lower, 0.9 inch upper for an increase of 1.4 inches spindle height. We also carry Viking and QA1.

Our Thanksgiving/Black Friday sale is on its way...
