Hey guys,
How many of you would be interested in getting together on a Saturday in September? I was approached by AutoBooks Aerobooks (http://www.autobooks-aerobooks.com/) in Burbank to come down and have a book signing. I'm thinking of doing it, even though it seems weird to be in the spotlight. I'm just a regular guy like the rest of you.
I would be there to help kick off the forthcoming Ford Restomod book release. They will also be promoting the new Cartech release of a 60's Ford Drag Racing History book. They might be able to get a couple of well-known 60's drag racers and their cars there for the event for the Drag book. They will do promotions for my GM book while I'm there, even though it has been out for over a year.
The owner of the store says he has car shows there on a regualr basis and has room for about 40 to 50 cars if necessary. He has had the Edelbrock's, Jay Leno, and other big names drop by for these events.
I'm not sure that I'm doing this, but I want to see if there is any interest if I did.
Check out their website and let me know ASAP.
