So guys, what's this car worth. It's an original owner car with the dealership sticker still on the windshield. Factory ordered. Car was driven until the mid 80's and then parked in an indoor heated garage. Mileage is 59,000. Everything is original, interior, top, all paint, engine, etc. A small amount of rust bubbling in the lower bottoms of the front fenders, but nothing major. Engine was painted by their teenage son back in the day but that looks to be the only thing wrong with the car. Master Cylinder was recently replaced. Car has a 300hp 327 with a glide.

I am looking to make an offer on the car, so I need to get some ideas of what this car is worth on the market. Ebay isnt so great a gauge for pricing. Appraisal was 28K.

Here's the pics.

Just a WAG, $20k?

If the rust is really nothing major, it is definitely worth $20K from what I see.
Possibly as high as $25K, if the underbody is clean and rust-free.

the wheels and caps are not '64 SS pieces, I find hard to believe that the white interior is in that good of conditon, and looking at the back seat carpet being faded and stained. as for the rust in the front fender rust, it may look minor but '64's can hide large rust in the front very well, 80% chance that they will need 6" to 12" cut off to fix.
is there any documentation on the car?
an Appraisal of 28K for insurance is about right.
I would not go over 22K from the images you have.
this one is valued at 32K after a full Restoration, my uncle got it from the original owners in '72. he passed in '81 sat tell 2007 when my dad got it from his sister in-law, dad never got to drive it finished, dad passed in Jan '11. I finished one week later for funeral.
300hp, 327cc complete on stand with original 4 speed.
355 with demon 6pack. and 4 speed.

^^ there is list of minor things I need to finish, a good cleaning, tires, hubcaps redone, trunk interior, the rear interior side panels sowed incorrect. that's the big stuff on the list. the car is in Nebraska at moms and I'm in Hawaii, so nothing is getting done.

Thanks for the feedback. The hubcaps were replaced with these wire units very early on. The rally wheels on it were to roll it around. Yes, there is full GM documentation with the car. The first image I posted is of that documentation. The interior is in very good shape, no cuts, rubs, or marks. The rugs do look faded, but they are not. They actually have a goldish thread in the carpet that gives it that color. It has never been parked outside during its entire life. I look at the dash pad and it is like new. I agree on your pricing estimate being in the low 20's.
