Bet you would need to see if a 15x10 would fit in the front and still turn lock to lock without hitting or rubbing.

Keep us posted as I want to do something similiar. I'm willing to give up a little turning radius to maximize the front footprint.

The thing about that is with a 17" wheel you can put enough postive offset on the wheel to tuck it up under the fender and clear critical suspension components. With a 15" wheel, you may be hitting ball joints or tie rod ends which will limit offset, which will stick the tires out further, which may require fender triming. Not saying it can't be done, but it may take a sawzall in addition to being critical with wheel dimensions.
On my mopar, the maximum backspace I can run with a 15" rim is 4.75 inches which limits my tire width to 255. By comparison, a 17" wheel can use 5.25" of backspace and easily fit a 275-295 in the same space.

thanks for the tip Tony im still kinda new to this ive always worked on cars but not to this extent i just figured it might would work since 275/60r15 fit with extra room ill try to rig something up to measure i tried to see how a stock car special goodyear eagle would fit in the wheel wells tread was almost 13 inches wide but it hit the rear shock mount so im hoping if i get a junk tire and wheel i can get it to work as long as i do plenty of measuring

I think this will be fixed properly at SL1 but most of the time i observe this case that the diameter or circumference didn't match with the alloy rim size. So please make sure before it to fix.
So time i saw this problem that the diameter of screw also harassed. So should it to be checked too..
