foam rubber between cowl and upper dash?

I am replacing the upper dash panel on my 69 firebird and I was wonder what people are using for the seal between the cowl and the upper dash panel. It looks to be some type of expandable foam rubber.

I plan on using seam sealer , the original looks like cork on my car and looks like it held moisture
