I've been checking this site out for a while now and love the work that many of you had put in. One thing I dont see is any Lincoln Mark VII's. Are these cars not that desirable to modify or work on? I would love to see some projects on this type of car if someone can show me links or threads to check out these cars

I've got a MK V build, but it's not a pro-touring car and not on this site.

A mark 7 or 8 would make for a cool build. A lot of the Ford, AKA Mustang, community supports these cars. Just about any mustang rag off the shelf or web site will have 7s and 8s in them. The mark 7 is a fox platform and I see no reason why you couldn't do something fun with it.

Post your build on this site. I for one would love to see it.

Resurrected!
I've been lurking here for a bit, hopefully it's kosher for me to link to a different site for my "build". It's nothing compared to what you guys do here, but it's fun.

Always nice to find another Mark VII fan!

My old LSC SE. 12 second burnout machine! It was rocking the turbo'd 347 from my notchback.

Put it back to stock and sold it to my sister when I decided to build another notch. Wish I never would have. I LOVED that car! She totalled it 3 months later texting while driving.

Resurrected thread again!

I was on here a while back but I mostly lurk, admiring the builds. I sold my old Mark VII after I snagged this one, a nearly mint condition '92.

There are a couple of differences but it's still considered a Fox Body.
The FoxStang has a wheelbase around 100", The T-Bird/Cougar is around 104" with 14" A-arms and lower rear control arms that are a bit longer than the FoxStang, The Mark VII has a 108" wheelbase with the same length A-arms and control arms as the T-Bird but everything has more braces and the rigidity is far beyond that of a FoxStang. Plus there's the air suspension, TEVES brakes, etc... all of that stuff adds up to almost 1,000 lbs of additional curb weight.

I am considering doing our field find 84 Lincoln Town car signature. Just to be different.

Hell yeah, luxury pro-touring!! I still remember Jeff Schwartz's old school Caddy kicking ass. Build that Lincoln up and have some fun.
