ran across this site while looking through fullsizechevy.com somehow a couple of days ago. some google searches also kept pointing to this site. looks like i should check it out. i am in the process of planning a truck build. i didn't realize that the truck i had come up with is supposed to be a pro touring truck. so the more info i find the better. i like info. so thanks for having me. don't worry the search function will be my friend.

Pro touring is awsome, all the power and performance of a modern day car with lines of a classic

i was kinda thinking obs chevy truck (88-98) regular cab short bed no step side. running a lt1 t56 ford 9" rear with 3.90 gears. rear wheels a little bigger, deeper dished than the front wheels. beefed up suspension with ladder bar system and beefed brake system. thing im trying to figure out now is putting a rack and pinion steering on a truck with low clearances and such. from what ive seen its been done, just will be a pain, but i think itll be worth it in the end.
