This really ought to be an interesting build to keep up with if I can pull it off. :)

Here's the project, and it has a little more too it than just build up a bad f'ing car. This firebird has been in my family longer than I have lol. Tons of sentimental ties to it and great story's underneath all the rust and valve covers! Lol I was brought back from the delivery room in this thing, it was my first car, growing up I always wanted it, and I'm ready to turn my vision for this thing to reailty.

I'm deffinity not made of money, and the car I plan on building is definity not in my budget, which got me thinking up ways to to pay for such a project.
And it leaves me with this...

I have a 02 Honda accord, I inherited it from my mom when she passed away from Breast cancer earlier this year.
I think I used to drive her and everyone else crazy talking about my plans for my firebird every wakeing chance I could get haha. She definitely knew I love this car and I know she would want me to build it into reality.
But anyways, my idea is to turn this car into the money I need to do this project by buying fixing and selling cars and parts up to what I need to do it!

Might sound crazy, and its not any get rich quick sceem, but after some research and thought on it, this its a very plausable plan, and I think may be just as rewarding doi.g it this way, as the car finished itself. I'll keep you all posted!

Alright so I've been working on disassembly and getting all that paint, grime, bondo, and surface rust of the body of the car. I figure just as anything else, you must have a solid foundation to build on, so start with the main body. I removed the front clip , rad, and most of the other non engine components off of the front end. I then rememoved all of the rear body components, and also the interior. Where the car is now it still has the main drivetrain, and frame still in place. I worked getting all of sheetmetal cleaned up during this time also, whatever I could do at the time to make some progress. I've been using a wire wheel to strip the car down. A long, long, long, cheap, and fairly easy way of cleaning up the metal. free I finish grinding down a section, Ive been just leaving a coat of spray paint to protect the metal from anymore rust as this takes a ling time. Untill I can get back to it in the next stage of work. Here's some pics if the progress I've made.

It's a 02 Honda accord coupe

It's got a bad transmission I need to fix it, or sell it as is Im thinking $1600 as is and $2500 if I put a trans in it first.
So with that I plan to buy another car and sell it for a couple hundred profit, and so on, to help pay for the build. I'll post an update about it as soon as it is fixed or sold.
