we got it, its a new motor, there calling it an LT1 because it will suck like the first LS motors and the LT1 that came in the caprice, year 2 and 3 will be better, OK, no more threads, or get them all joined

Its just a name....No big deal...The LT1 of the 70s is not the LT1 of the 90s, and the LT1 of 2014 is not that of the 90s....Technology is getting better, not worse. No need to fear.

I believe the first engine was called an LT-1 and for this version they have removed the dash.

This is the same thing they did for LS6 and LS7. The old engines were actually called LS-6 and LS-7.
