You read that correctly. We were tipped off to the fact that the Videos GM released today of the Gen-V testing reveal something that looks strikingly similar to a turbo hanging off the side of one of the engines. Step inside, examine the evidence, and draw your own conclusions…
GM may have just given us the details on the new Gen-V V8, but that doesn’t mean that the speculation about the new GM powerplants is over. After we posted the new Gen V videos from GM, a keen-eyed Facebook fan named Michael Booth pointed out that the tech in the “Tilt Stand” test is actually working on the compressor side of a turbo.
Are we totally crazy or is this really a turbo setup for the new LT1 which was mistakenly posted by GM?
