looking for lightweight options for these... had them in my hand today and couldnt stop thiniking if they were aluminum it would be a nice weight savings...
Does anyone make such a thing?

I think your signature says it best.
If you want a real bumper they need to stay steel, if you are putting on carbon fiber or fiberglass they would be fitting and more than adequate. But your sig says a lot about what happens when that car at the drive thru backs into you. Ask me how I know and came out with out a scratch and could have needed a new nose.
Keep the steel or just fab up some aluminum brackets yourself, they are just brackets at that point.
