Kinda new here -New project car purchased today! 66 Newport

I am not new here I did come on sometime back when I was building my LS swapped RX-7... not really the site for that sort of thing but I wanted to share.

Here is my new project and I expect to be a regular on here now!

1966 Chrysler Newport -24,000 Original miles -car is all original 383 with a torque flight 3sp auto. Runs great and is AMAZINGLY clean for it's age... the interior is almost perfect.

I did not expect to be buying a car now but I saw this and could not pass it by -I got a great deal on her!

Going to leave her stockish and just cruise -paint later down the road.

Great car! What a difference after a little elbow grease. I had a '72 New Yorker in college. I suspect there could be another C-Body in my future.
